Mego Prego Week 13

It has been a crazy last few weeks, so needless to say I have a lot to catch everyone up on! We'll start with the pregnancy. This week I have been feeling great as far as the pregnancy goes. Pretty much all the nausea and discomfort has left! In fact, I really don't even feel prego. I do feel big, though! Here is a pic Zac took last week, although I don't think it really does justice to how big I really am. My natural tendency to suck it in must have been kicking in.

Zac and I ventured out yesterday to go shopping for various home, office, and baby items. We both left the baby warehouses (aka Buy Buy Baby and Babies R Us) feeling very overwhelmed. With two on the way, we are going to have to do some research to see of what we actually need two, what we can borrow, and what we can really just do without. The most overwhelming (and frankly, laughable) moment was when we tried out some of the tandem strollers...or shall I say buses. Those things are really not practical for any other place than a wide open football field. Zac had apparently been thinking that we would try to make it work with my Civic...until he folded the stroller down. Hmmm...minivan shopping, anyone?

Ahhh, ultrasounds. A moment of great anxiety filled with unexplainable peacefulness and joy. We were able to sneak in one more ultrasound last week with our doctor in Marietta before we moved, and I'm so glad we did. They are actually starting to look like little people! Seeing their little faces and arms and legs moving around was just a true miracle to see. We are so blessed!

Looks like we'll have some bunk beds in our future!

  1. Love it! Love it all! Your bump is adorable, the minivan sounds likely (we've started looking, too), and it looks like the little ones have already decided who gets top and bottom bunk!
